Our Vision, Purpose & Values

Our vision is to help end the cycle of poverty, hardship and helplessness in Indigenous
Australia by building capacity and fostering self-sufficiency through employment. We
support and provide connection and pathways for our future leaders.
Our social purpose is to provide culturally appropriate mentoring and employee
pathways for Indigenous people that create opportunities towards the achievement
of self-sufficiency, self-determination and ultimately, a better standard of living.
We never lose sight of our Aboriginal and Torres strait Islander Culture and where we
come from but also recognise the need to build skills for the modern world. The
recognition of the need for First Nation cultures and modern society to co-exist are the
foundations on which our services are built and delivered.
Adapt are determined to address the high-level of poverty and hardship that exists for
Indigenous Australians. We are passionate about the transformative and healing
benefits of our program and will strive to make genuine impact in the lives of those
who are entrusted to us.
We pride ourselves on our integrity and we have created & sustained strong
partnerships across the whole of community from government to corporate & small
business, aswell as many years working across the health, housing & community
sectors. We create innovative projects tailormade to the needs of our clients &
community. We think big, and are catalysts of change.
